ready to lay or not

I have a 5 month old silkie and she is getting bigger wattle and comb I'm wondering if he is going to start laying and when should she start I'll leave a picture

I can't see her comb at all. If she were a bearded silkie, you wouldn't see her wattles at all. Does she squat ,if you touch her back, like she would for a rooster?
