ready to lay???

my hens are four months old...... laying time YET? i have waited sooo long it seems! lol


when can i expect them to start to lay??????? thank you

About another month and you should get some eggs. Most breeds start laying between 18-23 weeks or so. 'production' breeds like leghorns are on the earlier end of the scale, many dual-purpose/heritage breeds take longer.

I'm sure the pretty hens will produce alot of eggs for you shortly, and the whole experience will be worth the effort!
