In the Brooder
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Started with 2 our neighbor gave us last year and we are around 50 now lol
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
50 and hatching!
(3) What breeds do you have?
A little of everything but frizzlesz naked neck, polish and silkies are my favorites
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Just learning and making them happy and keeping them healthy
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Taking care of dogs, goats, ducks and rabbits....oh yeah and the kids and husband lol
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Stay at home with all the animals listed above. The kids are all "grown" and out the house and/or college except the caboose who is in 5th grade. Husband works offshore so I hold down the fort and work harder staying at home then I ever did when I worked full-time outside the house!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Found through Facebook and honestly thought I had joined but apparently I didn't, so here I am! I recently started intubating eggs so came here reading others posts.
