Ok, so our hens have been Laying for a while now and we ended up missing some of the eggs when we would collect them. Come to find out one of the hens had set up a nest of her own in a corner of the coop and has been sitting on them. I went out today and checked them out and holy moley!! I could hear a chick chirping inside one of the eggs!!! Please help us lol we want baby chickies but we have no idea on what to do from here

Lucky for you, there is absolutely nothing else you need to do except make sure she has food and water close by. She will bring the chicks out of the corner to roam around and teach them how to get food and water after about 3 days. I would remove any unhatched eggs when you see that she's not sitting on them during the day. And..... congratulations!

Awesome!!!:) thank you so much! We are so excited to add new members to our "goof troop" lol

So how do we know for sure if more of the other eggs have chicks in them?

the hen will know.

Ok so we just leave the chicky with the mama hen and the rest of the gang right? Lol sorry we feel like we're havin kids all over again lol

And once we are able to hear it chirping inside the egg how long is it gonna be? Should we need to be there?

Wooo!!! We are proud grand parents of our first hatchling!!!!

Congratulations! Make sure you baby proof your coop and run. Those babies can fit through almost anywhere and get themselves into trouble. If you have a larger gauge of fencing up, go and and put another layer of small gauge chicken wire or hardware cloth from the groun, up to about 12 inches or so.
