Welcome to Backyard Chickens Googled the product try not to get the peppermint in their eyes is all some may resist you doing this do you see pests ?

Oh no, thank goodness. Just found it in organic food store and picked it up. I've read that peppermint is good at keeping vermin away. Also read that if coop needs cleaning to use vinegar spray. I'll just put peppermint, the herb in there to be safe.

I've never heard of the product you mention and I would not trust it to keep any critters away.

Look into buying a bottle of permethrin spray...it will rid lice and mites.

I don't have problems with mites, thank goodness. If I do I will try that. Thank you! I was just wanting to try oils and herbs recommended to hopefully fend them off.
