Real off topic, camper info.

My hubby bought a small pull behind last year. He didn't want the big motor home. This way if the truck breaks down we we still have our camper to sleep in. Repairs would be cheaper. We can park it and go were we want for the day. We had to chang our plans this year. We were going out west but with gas prices we decided to stay on the east cost. But hubby figured up our trip the other night. Gas is going to cost us about $2000. for the trip with my expedition pulling the camper. But this is the big family trip and with my son getting older this might be the last time he wants to go since he is a teenager.

I have a pop-up tent trailer I take out gold prospecting all the time. I LOVE IT.
If I got somewhere that has hookups I have electricity and water-cool.
It has a chemical porta-potty, awning with screen walls just like another whole room.
It takes me about 15 minutes to set up.
I have a huge solar panel I put on the roof to charge batteries for lights at night (and for my prospecting equipment).

I only get a little concerned in the chocholate mountains when the wind blows.

we just bought a pull behind .....we are musicians, and have a tour through california this summer..we HAVE to go regardless of the price of gas !!!!! AND its cheaper than a hotel ....we do KOA and state parks.... motels wont take our 3 small dogs either !!! We are also bringing my FIL ........love this trailer !!!! what if, in a MH you have engine trouble ??? you have to drop it off at the dealer to be fixed, then have nothing to drive around in .......no thanks !!!
