I have 10 birds, and about 400 feet of fence,10,000 sqft,( it is roughly squarish) 2 pools big enough to fit (i have seen as many as 7 ducks in one) a few birds at a time comfortably. I
Thinking to add another 100’ of fence and am putting an actual pond in. Recently a customer was showing me his setup, he has in excess of 60-70 birds (mostly chickens) and I would hazard a guess at an area roughly 1/5 the size of mine maybe 1/4, looked pretty messy and no grass, had water for ducks but with that many was pretty murky... made me feel a little better about mine. So realistically how much run per bird would be required for happy healthy birds? To me it looked like bumblefoot and disease heaven.
