Really a boy? Or did I get swindled!

This guy was in a mixed crate but the seller assured me he was a boy...even though he's supposedly only 3 weeks old (a Columbia Rock x)

Btw, he/she has a bald spot on the back of the neck (not visible when she sleeps but obvious when he/she stretches out neck)
Is that normal in a growing chick? Or is it a sign of mites or lice?

That is pretty normal. but if it is obviously inflamed or no new feathers are coming in. you may want to be more worried about it.​
