So I was making my normal rounds through the garden and I had a bag of oatmeal from a chick I was feeding and decided to pick "tater bugs" as I call them from the potatoes. They are a beetle that eats the potato plant and causes devastating damage to them. I picked everyone of them I could find and put them in the bag and shook it up so they'd get the dust oatmeal dust on them, I emptied the bag of oatmeal full of the bugs, the chickens not only ate them, they chose them I've their normal layer feed I put in with them. This is great because the chickens love them and it's good for your crop of potatoes.
