Congratulations! Let us know how many babies you have. I have a Muscovy hen sitting on approx. 13 eggs. She had about 19 but has thrown some out throughout the hatch. I guess they were not viable. She is due to hatch on the 18th and I can't wait! I gave her two Pekin eggs too, about a week after she started sitting. I am hoping she still has them and that they were not some of the ones she got rid of. She lives outside in a pen and has her nest hidden up under a hutch that is really close to the ground. She barely fits to get under there. It is impossible to see how many she now has. I just hope when they hatch, I will hear them peeping and stuff. I know she will bring them out a few days after hatch. I'm just going to miss out on all the getting to watch the pipping, etc. But, that's ok. I am just hoping for a happy, healthy hatch. This is her first time (and mine too). I plan on moving the drake this weekend, so there is no chance he can get to the babies. He's a sweetie, but I still don't want to take any chances.
Good luck! Let us know the results. And we need PICS! please.
Take care,
Kathy
