congrats on your babies!!!!! how exciting!!! it's worth the looooooooooooong wait hahahaha are yours muscovies?? daddy duck is a magpie scovie and mommy is a white scovy. not to brag but my hen is just beautiful lol she gets lots of compliments!! dad's name is duckie and mom's name is quackers.

Oh I want them !!!!! so tooo cute !!! We are trying our first hatch in the bator with duck eggs so no telling if any will come or not!!! I am so envious! Ours are a pekin momma with a pom pom head/crested mallard looking male (feed store ducks from last year) but we don't care they are duckies !!!! Wow !!!

thank you. i was envious of everyone else while she was sitting on them. that was a long 37 or 38 days i waited (on top of waiting for her to finish laying so she would start sitting) nearly 2 months later and i have ducklings lol. she started laying them march 14th.

lol that's funny. when we move, i will have my scovies, pekins, and mallards

I've been following the thread and practicially holding my breath with hope that you'd get babies LOL
Your Quackers is absolutely gorgeous! I wish I had some of her babies. My Husband tells me I can NOT have 'scovies cause he thinks they are ugly. I think they're beautiful and I'll bet if he saw one like your Quackers he'd change his mind.

Wow, Quackers is beautiful!! I haven't seen too many white Muscovies. I did have two last year that were orphaned and I raised them. They ended up being white, with a little black cap on their heads and had BLUE eyes!! Gorgeous birds, but they were drakes and I couldn't keep them, as I have too many drakes already. They went to a farm to live with the lady from the feed store.

Yes, Cocoa, the hen sitting on the nest, is a chocolate muscovy, and Rocky, her mate is also a muscovy, but I don't know what color/pattern he is. I need to get a good pic of him and post it and see if anyone can tell me.

Your ducks are beautiful. Glad you get to keep one of them. I hope you find good homes for the others.

i love her. when she's not broody she is the sweetest duck and so funny!! she sits on my lap and watches tv with me. she likes desperate housewives lol. she shakes her tail when i sing shake your booty to her lol. she has blue eyes too. my mom calls her the aryan duck lol
