I washed my eggs with dettol and water before putting in incubator is that ok

I'm with Sourland here. Chloroxylenol is practically non-toxic to birds, but I have never used it on hatching eggs, so only time will tell if it has an effect or not. I'm very interested to know what it does do, if anything.
