really important about frizzle rooster

My frizzle rooster gets hit from the chickens every time he wants to mate with them....also they hit him alot on the head....eight now his eyes are big with yellow stuff around them...also when he walks...he first walks backwards then normal...then backwards it is so weird...how do I fix this

Is he being knocked off by other roosters? He sounds like he is suffering from either infected peck wounds, but more likely, a respiratory disease with the swollen pus-filled eyes. He also may have wry neck if he is walking backwards. I would get him away from the others. Sometimes other chickens will pick on one who is sick, but he could be infectious.
