Really loud hen! any solutions to help?

I have a dog that barks to entertain himself. He will bark at nothing. He prances around barking and really enjoys it. Problem is that he will bark for HOURS! Needless to say he wears a bark collar 1/2 the time!

Ha. My hen is not that annoying. She does it more when she sees me coming in the morning and then if she thinks there is a threat (skid loader in the yard). I have also heard her do it at bedtime.
