I've got 3 Black Australorps that had been getting along great up until this morning. My big girl, 'Grim,' and one other keep going round and round. They each arch their necks over the neck of the other then, seriously, turn around each other in circles. Then one of them will grab the other by the neck. I've never seen this before. Is one challenging the other? Grim has always been sort of the head honcho of their group. They pretty much keep to themselves from the RSLs and the one GSL they share the brooder with. Grim is also spoiled rotten. She 'calls' when she wants out of the brooder. She is our lap bird and will cuddle in our jackets. Nutty animal. I've created a monster! LOL!

Yep, you've created a monster! I have 3 aussie girls aka the pointer sisters... and they're rotten too. It sounds like they're figuring out the pecking order....
Mable, is so rotten, when she gets wet... she'll come to the backdoor so you can blow dry her! Our 8 yr old is followed by them in the backyard, he started a bad habbit of turning up stones for worms, now they expect it whenever he's out there!

I think they'd follow him off a cliff! We have them a Roo in the brooder, we've named him Disco, hopefully they'll like him!
