I just read an article about the platypus, part bird, part mammal, part reptile, (that’s where the poison comes from.) How cool is that? I wonder what it evolved from and why, must have been one funky dinosaur.

if you look up platypus on wikipedia, it tells you what it evolved from and all that. its pretty interesting. i dont think i can actually wrap my head around it tho, i think i need to raise one, watch it have babies, and then i might comprehend.lol.
