I have 2 pullets about 9 months old that survived the Mareks that killed my other 5 girls. I have decided to get a few more chicks (vaccinated), but I am really stressing about how I am going to integrate them when the time comes. They will obviously be in brooder for the first 8 weeks, but then what? I am getting 8 chicks, and will hopefully be keeping 5 of them. I don't really have a great second setup that could withstand really rainy days, and my coop is not easily dividable. I am considering letting the little ones have the coop at night, and bringing the two older ones in the garage at night to roost in a dog kennel. I have two separate run areas if I cover my garden, but it really gets stressful on rainy days, where everyone will want to be dry in the 6X9 coop. if anyone has any advice or tricks I would love to hear it. I am posting a pic of the coop if that helps
