My two GSDs love soft, plush toys but destroy them in seconds.

Is there any really tough but soft dog toys? They're really bored with their rubber groundhog and kongs.

Terra bought our English Bulldog some tough ones on clearance at TSC. Not sure what they are made out of, it's sorta rubbery fabric, but holding up good. Only gave a couple bucks for them. Not sure if they still have any though. One looks like a plush John Deere tractor and the other looks like a flintstones bone. lol

I'm sorry, I know you're serious... I honestly don't think they exist

I tried a Kevlar soft duck toy and my huskee sqeaked it for a 1/2 hour directly next to our bed while we were trying to fall asleep, then ripped it to shreds

on the other hand, have you tried the "skineeze" toys? They have squeakers but no stuffing. Our dogs LOVE them and have not killed them trying to get the stuffing out.

Okay, we'll try those. Last night the plush coon I gave them got grabbed by the head (Jax) and by the tail (Kane) and was history in a heartbeat.

I haven't found any soft toys that my pack can't destroy in the blink of an eye. I now just buy stuffed toys at yard sales for 25 cents or less each. I only buy ones that are dog friendly ~ one that don't have hard plastic parts that could harm the dogs. I have a big box full ~ as they destroy one I can just toss it and give them a new one.

You can get jumbo skinneeze at TSC. they are really big and would probably be good for big dogs like your guys. Also just got some in that have something like 16 sqeakers in them! You can get them at the grocery stores too (around here anyway).

My dogs also love plush toys but have them ripped to pieces in mere minutes. We bought a tougher toy at a pet expo last summer and it managed to last quite a bit longer than most of them but it wasn't cheap. My dogs do like those plush animal ones without stuffing as well and they do last a little bit longer since they aren't trying to get the stuffing out. Everything we have ever tried has ended up in pieces within a couple days at the most. I too just buy the cheapest ones I can find, usually whatever is on sale at the store from the last holiday.

ETA: I looked it up and the tougher toy we got was a dragon made by Go Dog. I really was a good toy and if I saw one in a store close to me, I would buy another one or two.
