REALLY wierd egg!

I've gotten some with no shell.
I've gotten some that look sort of like an old balloon partly deflated
My Partridge Chantecler is laying slightly oddly shaped eggs with some thin indentations running from point to round end.

But THIS today???


The egg shaped part is hard, the "neck" is soft. Given the color it has to be from one of my 2 Easter Eggers. Both laid a normal egg yesterday.

Anyone else ever get one like this?

I haven't gotten that particular shape of egg yet. I think the most interesting one so far was a hard-shelled white and the yolk was 6' away.

That is crazy! Does she seem like she's in pain at all or a different mood then normal?

When I googled "deformed egg" a few weeks ago a bunch of photos came up that looked like yours. Try a google search and you might find the answer. Good luck!

Nope, she is fine. Since she usually lays 2 days in a row, then takes a day or two off, I'll she what she puts out next. Likely not today.

Update: I was wrong, she laid a normal egg today. The only thing unusual for her were a few light indentation "rings" on it.
