After a while he slid his arm out from under her and kissed her forehead. "You said you want to be by my side... you caught me Eve... your really have... Will you... will you be my wife?" He whispered.... he had forgotten that he'd only known her a few days. But she had broken through all the protections he had built up, and the truth was he did not want to be alone. And with the darkness rising, she gave him strength against it. Nor could he allow it to defeat her.
