Reasons NOT to own chickens!!!

Hello! Okay, I'm getting more and more serious about 'this chicken thing' every day. Have a woods coop and run already laid out in the garden, have my breeds chosen, and am going to a chicken workshop tomorrow morning. Need some serious feedback here; what are the top reasons that I do NOT want chickens??!! I'm sure that I am glorifying this little adventure and may need to have my foul fantasy taken down a notch

Chickens are a big responsibility and rely on you to provide them food, water, protection, and care. They need to stick to a schedule because they are creatures of habit.

If you plan on going away, even for a weekend, you will need a pet sitter or someone responsible for taking care of your chickens.

It is confusing that the more you like them you also want to eat them more. Calling them a 'hot tasty piece of fine...' becomes weird and more real at the same time.

I love that! So far the 6 that I do not even own yet are named after female video game characters. Dishes may have to be reserved for any add ins or replacements
