Receieved hatching eggs....older ones colored odd...

I received a few boxes off eggs today & noticed the eggs that were 1.5+ wks old had a dark/reddish tent to them sort of like day 5-6 when you candle, but no guy floating around in there. Is this normal for older eggs/safe for me to put in the bator, or are these eggs gonna bust on me?

Interesting... I'd set them and keep a very close eye on them.

That's what I did as I awaited an answer

If they had been sat on, I would expect to see some veining or evidence of death, but nothing like that there, just that the oldest 2 eggs look dark, where as all the newer eggs are clear.

If they are dark, as of in cloudy, look out for bacteria from them being stored too warm while waiting to ship to you.
