They should be ok for up to 3 days. I move mine after about 24 hrs., but a lot of people don't move them for 3 days.
I never feed medicated feed at all. Ever. My chicks are very healthy, and I've never lost one to coccidiosis. I start mine out on layer mash, with protein increased by either distiller's grain or soy meal, sometimes a little of both. If they are hen-hatched they are usually out free ranging with mom from about day 3. Incubator hatched a little later, when they get about pigeon size and are feathered out, unless I have a hen handy to adopt them.
