Everyone always warn me about my cockerels turning into bullies but I have the perfect sweetheart here.
We recently got a new 5 month old plymoth rock roo and he was being bullied by some of the chickens in the coop when my 4 month old austrolop roo stepped in and took him under his wing. Now i cant go to the coop without seeing them together either sleeping or eating

I have a rooster, just turning a year old, I have been calling him Sargent. Well today, they were all out and about while I was cleaning out the coop. There is a little hill around the coop on the west and north. All of a sudden, Sargents head went up and he charged up the hill, and brought back 3 of ladies where he could keep an eye on them.

I think I am calling him Lieutenant now!
