I have one rooster too many and am looking to rehome my white rooster.
Lineage: unknown. I brought him for a dollar from a young lady who was raising him in her apartment because she thought he was cute, but he yelled all the time and her roommate complained. He’s “you know, the white chickens you can buy”. She also insisted He was a She (... it’s a he.) He could be a white rock or a leghorn. I call him Ditzy.
Unfortunately something went down between him and my head Roo, and he’s been ostracized by the entire flock. In an effort to keep flock peace and keeping in mind his health, I’ve decided to look into rehoming him. He’s been a good roo and I want him to find a decent home where he can practice his gentleroo skills with some hens and live a good life.
Obviously since I don’t know the breed, make an offer that you think is fair. Mostly I want him to end up with ladies and not immediately on someone’s dinner table (honestly he’s not built to be a good dinner). He’s about one year old.
