Recieving eggs at the post office

I don't know where else to post this, so I general sounds good. I am having eggs shipped to me for the first time and I want the post office to hold the box for pickup. How is that done? I have seen a picture, The box just said "Hold for pickup" on it. As I understand you need to write a phone number on the box to do this? If anyone knows how to do this I would really appreciate any info. (The shipper has never done it, she wanted to know too.)

I just watch the tracking number and the day before the box is supposed to arrive at the PO, I call and ask them to call me when they arrive. My PO has been great about helping me out.
