Well, I was comparing a fox in the henhouse to a rabbit in the garden. LOL
We have fox here, never see them unless they are hit by a car or we are riding the horses(they don't spook as easy when we are riding). We shot a red one(didn't know we had the Red ones!) that carried off 4 of my sexlink this past fall. We didn't get his mate, which surely must have helped him. I know he had help because we I disected him for my future brother-in-laws(10 & 13) he only had black feathers in his stomache and I 3 of the 4 sexlink were red. I guess he could have cached them somewhere, but I think he would have eaten the red one's head like he did the black on he ate.
