Reclaimed and pallet wood coop build

I'll post a whole thread on this when I am finished. My coop is getting closer to finished. This has been one of the most challenging builds working with the "junk" pallet woods. The sawzall came in handy to get it, but the chop saw with metal cutting blade really was helpful. Cutting the angles for the roof trusses was very hard with hitting nails. Every 2x4 board I cut was "where is the nails". Building the door was different as they planks are only 40" long and had to build 2 doors together.

Much easier to post as you go. Also gives one time to sit back and reflect as you take pictures; great job on pics so far by the way!

I have seen a number of folks recommend a dutch style door to facilitate access through the top part when either litter or snow clutters the door bottom. Maybe a benefit?

Yea, they all are on my phone and I don't like message board viewing from my phone. Trying to stay on the OP's topic and not draw it sideways and just relating what I found.

Use 6" - 8" sawzall blades, the normal 4" are too short for pallets

And four months later the coop is finally finished!
