Hi, I currently have muscovies, but am looking to get another breed of duck with a few requirements. It must be nice to look at--would prefer it NOT to be white. (my scovies are and they look ratty all the time). Must like the water. ( again, my scovies do not like the water, and we would like the new ducks to live at the pond.) they must be a utility breed so being good for both meat and eggs. Thanks for your help!! [IMG]

Cayugas, and indean runners are amazing duck in my oppinion, and mallards are wonderful beutiful ducks and they love water but you have to clip there wings. Kaki campbells are good meet and laying breeds and love the water, so are appleyards.

The Australian Spotted duck is a very nice duck it's not that big it looks similar to the appleyard. They love the water and are not very noisy.
