Recyceled duck coop- less than $20

So far we have spent $3 on our coop for screws... probably get some more and some hinges and locks, but all in all our coop for our three ducks should not cost more than $20.00 for a 3x4x4 coop.

We looked on craigslist for free wood, and picked up wood from all around town, and this is the result so far... only have to finish the sides and the doors left....

(when I first read this thread, I swear it said recycled duck poop - less then 20$!)

so with all harware it is up to $30.... and then we bought a cool oregon duck decal (since were in eugene and im a up student) and paint to paint it green and yellow... so with the extra's up to $50......

ill get some pictures when it is all the way done//

hi, i am cbrocks fiance, i finished the coop there were a few minor adjustments i made but the draw-bridge is also their ramp out ;)...now that i posted this on the net my idea will forever be stolen world wide... lol. but anyways the ducks just spent there first night outside last night... they grow up so fast...



 
yes i have that 1/4" hardware mesh over the vent hole... i just happened to have a piece that was big enough for what i needed. that wire is spendy!
