What a great looking coop!! I'd be proud to have that in my yard. As a matter of fact, I am just getting ready to try to build something similar. We have a Fort Knox type coop/shed combo, and will need another coop for the . . . ahem. . .new little flock I will be getting at the end of this month. I just told my husband about it, today.

Seriously though, that is one nice coop and I know mine will not look near as nice, but I am going to do the recycle and culled lumber thing, too.

You've inspired me to get out and get the run finished (it's 36 degrees Celsius today!). My sons are urging me on, apparently Saturday is the deadline for "chookday", better get moving then!
