Red broilers Molting at 8 weeks. Is this normal ?

I swear my 8 wk old read broilers are molting. Feathers everywhere an looking pin cushiony. Is this possible?

Totally normal. Chicks go through two full juvenile molts before they reach adulthood. They outgrow their feathers and need to replace them.
