Red bulb vs White bulb

They grow just the same under a Red bulb as a white. Only....Quieter.....

We just bought the neccessary wiring to make the fixtures for the white lights so right now they just have the red heat lamp. We started out by adding the white to increase egg production then replaced that with the heat lamp. I'm afraid they'll quite laying with just the red so back to the hardware store to buy more supplies. Have 5 ccops so hate to see what the energy bill is going to be !!!!

So much for the egg sales footing the bill !!!
