Red butts and plucking

I am having an issue with my chickens missing butt and tail feathers and some have very red butts. I have treated the whole coop with permethrin and DE. Please help!

I think those are fighting injuries. That one in the second picture appears to be overmating baldness.

Overmating baldness?! That's a thing? I'm not sure what to do. I've hung a home made flock block, corn, CDs for mirrors, I filled a tire with de for dust bathing. Any suggestions would be awesome. Thank you.

Yes, if you have too many roosters, or one really rough rooster, your hens will lose the feathers on their backs and tails.

I put my extra roosters in a "Rooster only flock" so that I don't have any mean roosters bothering my Hens.
Some people kill or rehome bad or extra roosters.

Are your chickens in a cramped enclosure? If they feel cramped they'll start fighting and hurting each other. Do you have a TSC near you? I suggest getting Blu-Kote to put on your injured chickens, it should prevent further pecking. Roosters will still mate the hens though!!

If you spot a specific chicken doing all this pecking you might consider rehoming her as she might kill one. You can always try isolating the really hurt chickens for a while to give them a break from the bullying

I might try and post pictures of my setup for suggestions on separating them. I'm kind of limited. I have some newer birds separated now.
