red cabbage, grass snake, and green poo

I know many of you have done this already. Yesterday Husband was putting in strawberries and he found a small snake with his shovel. I told him to give it to the chickens.

Then I went to the grocery store. I got a couple heads of cabbage for the chickies because they love it. Red was on sale, so I got that.

This morning we have NEON turquoise poop in the coop. At first I thought it was the snake, but it's the cabbage.

It's gross and cool at the same time.

purple food dye results in neon green poop. drink about a gallon of grape kool-aid and watch what happens.

purple food dye = red cabbage
