Red comb before 5 weeks....Roo?

This baby developed a red comb in just the last 2-3 days! It's a Black Australorp and will be 5 weeks old on Wednesday. Do you think it's a roo or is it still too early to tell?





Here's the baby in question (on the right) with other babies of the same age and breed that shipped along with it, You can see the others have absolutely nothing comb-wise!




These babies don't ever stand still! It is so hard to get pics!

I recently had an australorp that had a comb that was obviously bigger and redder than the other australorps at 5 weeks. We gave it the benefit of the doubt and kept it....until it started crowing

Thanks for the input! In just the last 3 days since I posted this he started growing bright red wattles and a bratty attitude (towards the other chicks). I am bummed because I just can't keep a rooster in the city. At least now I know not to get attached!
