I just bought 24 baby chicks. 4 of them were a cross of rir and cornish. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience in having these.

Lays better than a cornish. Matures slower than a RIR. Hardy. Meatier than a RIR. A bit more pugnacious than either parent stock. Excellent mothers. Various body, comb, and feathering. A middle of the road animal not great at any production trait but can serve the purpose of eggs and meats. The roosters can get big. 10+ lbs
