my ducks eye is turning red & idk why can someone help?

Is it oozing or getting crusty? Do you have any Terramycin? You can get it at Tractor Supply. It's an ointment that you can put in the eye.

it’s not oozing or crusty could it be because we switched their bedding to hay a couple days ago?

I think I would keep a close eye on her for a few days, red eyes can mean a few things, bacterial infection, etc, I highly doubt thas the problem, more likely to be either dust or bedding stuck in her eye. Just apply the Terramycin as needed, and make sure to provide head deep water.
