Red face - is this normal?

I noticed this morning when I was letting the birds out that one of them (not sure on breed, pretty sure this one is female) had quite a red face. She is about 18 weeks old, and I've read they redden up when they're about to start laying, but she pales again after being outside for a bit. Is this normal?
I'm hoping she's not too warm in her coop?
