I have a chick that I am thinking could be a black sexlink. The bin was marked black pullets..
But, he/she has a white spot on his/her head.

He/she is a few days old now, and starting to get white tips on her/his wings,
and a deep mahogany red in the rest of his/her wings..

(she he also have a faint mahogany red shading around the eyes, and beige chin)

...So, can a black sexlink roo have red in his wings?

Oh ok, they do have red on them!? I didn't know, I thought they ere strictly black and white barred. Well, guess I have a little roo! lol Thanks for answering.

Heard back from the hatchery, the chick I was wondering about it definitely not a sexlink. She a pullet, similar to an Australorp (mixed with) - though so far, with the bronze feathering, she doesn't look like an Australorp. lol
