Red Golden Pheasant at 3 mouth?

Looks like the male has a longer mullet. And green eyes.

Here's some pics of day old golden pheasants. Male and female, plus a 1month old male. They can be sex at 1 day old if you know what to look for, in regards to the "tear drop" or wattle.

Day old male Red Golden chick. Note: the pink skin below eye, this is the wattle or "tear drop".

Day old female Red Golden chick. Note: No wattle present.

1 month old Red Golden chick. Clearly can see the "tear drop" or wattle.
This holds true for the Ruff pheasants only!
No chicks were harmed during photographing. They just monetarily closed their eyes.

Yes, it's a male.

it's male; however, it is not very pure breed.

His papa is a dark throated Red golden. Plus he's not that pure....his crest is red tipped, most likely from Amherst in it's geneology.
