Well only one egg hatched out of my seven I bought... Not really sure where to find another little pheasant to put with it so it has a buddy. Is it okay to raise just one by itself? When I can upload a picture of it, I will!

I'm in the same boat as you, Out of 15 golden pheasants I only managed to get 1 that did hatch out. And that one chick that did hatch had leg problems and didn't make it.
Sure you can raise one by itself and when you can get a few more, keep them together.

Just wanted to know, were these eggs you incubated shipped to you? Mine were shipped and I'm thinking that's what caused a low hatch rate.

Yes mine we're shipped to me.. I'm pretty sure that was the reason for the low hatch rate as well. My eggs that were shipped were from a farm 3ish hours away (of course I find this out after I get my eggs haha), so next time I'm thinking I'll just drive to get them.

I am in a similar situation. I had a batch of my own eggs that I put in the bator, but only two hatched and then one did not make it more than a few days. I now have a roughly two week old pheasant. I also just hatched some chickens and he really seemed to perk up when he could hear the chickens in the brooder near him.

I had the same thing happen with the eggs I bought on ebay....I even picked the eggs up from the seller. Had one hatch out of seven and the chick only live three days. Then checked craig's list and found someone selling pheasant chicks for $8 each. I bought four 1 month old red goldens. I think I should have done that in the first place.

I looked on craigslist, but there isn't very many people (from what it looks like) in Michigan that either breed/sell RG pheasants...... bummer.
