RED GOLDEN PHEASANTS

So far everyone is getting along. The hen that was aggressive seems to have calmed down now.
I have one adult rooster in the pen and him seems to be protecting the young ones now.I didn't think to
put the adults into the rabbit cages but so far it seems to be working thanks for the advise from everyone.

What I know works well with chickens is having the two separate groups together but in separate pens. For example put the chicks with the rabbit cage as a whole inside the older pheasant's cage. This way they'll be able to see each other and get used to seeing one another, but the older birds won't be able to attack the little ones if they ever felt like it. You can also build another cage next to your current cage with the wire in between so they can get used to seeing each other 24/7. Then later on you can just throw them in with the other ones. Or throw one big one with the little ones to see how the big one reacts. All n all, just keep a close look out. Even when it might feel like it's safe to leave them alone. Hope this helps =)
