Anyone available that can share with me the difference between Red Leghorns and English Game Fowl? I have a cockerel that is very similar to a Wheaton Old English but definitely has a larger straight comb and yellow legs. Anyone know if the Red Leghorn has Old English in the background or is this a common characteristic among breeds.

Here's a pic of my Red leghorn cockerel along with some of his ladies.

Thoughts?

To me bird pictured looks like an American game, old English game may not be all that old English anymore. From above the game looks broader than the red / brown leghorn and in the hand the game feels more solid. The leghorns to me also feel leaner in the breast keel giving a more elongated look. You already noted the bigger comb,

I should add that the I started my flock with stock from McMurray Hatchery. I assume their line/breed is more selected for performance than aesthetic attributes.
