Red light district? (lighting ?)

can chicks see like normal with a red light bulb without sunlight or do I need to switch to a 60w regular light bulb during the day and a red one at night? Thank you and sorry if this has been asked many times before

I've never seen that question before. Very interesting. I just always use a regular white bulb and have never had a problem.

I have my red light going 24/7 and the way they run around like crazy I am guessing they can see just fine.
