red lump on molting chicken

Hey everyone! I was just wondering if anybody knows what this red lump on her is. She's obviously molting so could it just be irritation of new feathers coming in that's causing her skin to be raised or could it be a bigger issue such as an infection? I also don't have a rooster and none of our other hens peck her. She's still active, eating, and drinking like normally and her poop looks normal as well. Any and all info/help would be greatly appreciated!

It might be an ingrown feather cyst or a cyst or tumor. If you explore it with a sterilized needle, and find a feather under the skin, that may give you an answer. Is there anything she could have injured her neck on?
