Jeyes Fluid is OK for a general clean... however, it will not rid your chickens nor their coop from mites.

You will need to use sevin or permethryn to eradicate the mites.

You can spray the chicken coop with liquid permethryn... get into all the nooks and crannies ( where the mites hide )... clean nesting boxes and use powder to dust your chickens... under wings and vent area especially thoroughly.

    Repeat treatment in 7 - 10 days.
