Red Mites?

I was just putting my chickens away for the night and noticed these red spiders on the outside of my coop crawling around. Are they mites I should be worried about? Clover Mites?

I should also add that multiple of these were crawling around next to the coop.

the first one looks like a tick. mites, i believe, are smaller. The second picture is a normal bug, i don't know it's name but i have seen them before and i don't think they do any harm.

Thanks so much! The spider like one when I smash it leaves a red spot, which is why I was thinking spider mite. Hopefully not ticks

Have you checked your birds over? Some mites only come out at night to feed on the birds. I use a headlamp so I have both of my hands free and check my birds after they roost in the evening. Good luck...
