Red or white light - Would you eat your friends?

I am all for eating meat from animals I have raised...theoretically anyway! I eat meat so I figure if I eat my farm-raised goats and chickens it would be better than buying from the store. And if you do your own butchering it gives you the oportunity to end that animals life resectfully and humanely. That being said, I just can't kill anything I have known personally! I am trying to get over that, though. So far the geriatric hens are doing a great job at keeping the bugs down.

I agree with Bucky. Besides, when you open your freezer, it doesn't have a picture of the chicken on it, with his name emlazoned upon the package. It will just be chicken. Makes it easier to forget.
