Red Partridge Orpington informational hatch thread

Crooky isn't doing well. I give him NutriDrench every couple of hours and massage his neck, and he has started smacking his mouth when I pick him up, so I think he associates me with eating/drinking. He is completely unable to un-flip his head from the upside-down position though, and can't stand up, so I don't know how I could actually feed him anything other than liquid... My vitamin E + selenium arrives today, but it's a gel gap. Not sure how I can get the gel into him... Maybe dissolve it in water? He can only take tiny little bits at a time. I don't even know if a chick can come back from wry neck this severe. Seems like he'll starve before recovering enough to be able to eat real food. Should I give him molasses just to get some calories into him? Is it worth it to keep going? I'm getting close to culling, but don't know what the odds actually are and if there is a chance he'll recover from this...

Bummer.
Don't know what to tell ya, might want to start a new thread?
I did, yesterday, but it only got one response that said every life is worth saving :( I think I put it in the wrong place though - raising baby chicks, when I really should've put it in diseases and emergencies. Can't figure out how to move it. Can mortals move threads, or is that a task for the higher-ups?

Everybody got their Marek’s shot today, including Crooky and the broody’s chicks. She didn’t mind me taking them and stabbing them. Bribing her with scrambled egg helped, but she’s cool with me regardless.

I felt so bad throwing the excess vaccine out. 1000-dose vial is the smallest I could find, and it wasn’t cheap. I posted on a bunch of local chicken groups to see if anybody wants it, but only received one response. Still, better than nothing. A lady drove 40 minutes each way to bring me the single chick she managed to hatch, and I gave it the shot. Would’ve been even more ridiculous for her to pay $74 for a single dose, so it worked out.

Here’s one of mine:
